HOW TO COMMISSION A PAITING

  • Over 100 collectors have commissioned me to paint works for them. I stand by my commissions and guarantee that you will be satisfied, even if I have to make adjustments during the painting process. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work on these commissions. An original painting is something that will last a lifetime, allowing you, your family, and others to enjoy it for generations to come. Thank you for your business; I look forward to working with you!

    1. Let me paint your favorite place during your favorite time of year, or commission Pat to paint an American or State Flag in your requested size.

    2. Your ideas and photographs can be used: I like working with your photographs and reference materials. This allows me to work with each collector to establish the color palate  and composition.

    3. Decide on a size based on your needs: I have commissioned works of all sizes. We can work together to find the perfect size for your space and subject matter.

    1. Please contact me directly to get your commission process started! You can reach me by email, text message, or phone call.

    2. A deposit is taken that secures your time frame. I normally ask for 1/2 down.

    3. I usually create a painting study sketch in pen and ink for your approval. Once approved, I will then start the painting process.

    4. When I start your commission, I will send you progress images. Communication during this starting phase helps me make sure we are both on the same path.

    1. Once I have completed the painting, I will send you a photo of the completed work and ask if you are happy with the final result. Once I receive your approval and you are completely satisfied with the commission, the final balance will be due.

    2. Drying time is recommended for all paintings. The time frame of this process ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.

    3. Once the painting is dry, I will package your painting in a shipping crate to ensure your painting is protected during the delivery process. If you live in Arkansas, in person delivery is an option. If you live in a different state, I will ship the painting to the address you’ve provided.
